Make a Monetary Gift

We need both money to keep the doors open and volunteers to help work with the children and families. Unlike most social service agencies, Joel's Place for Children receives no support from federal, state or local governments. We are not a member of United Way, nor do we receive payments from third parties or from insurance companies.  We do not charge a fee for our services. Although we ask all participating families to contribute to the best of their ability, no family has ever been turned away for inability to contribute. Volunteering

There are many ways you can help support Joel's Place for Children.  We need volunteer facilitators to help us create activities for the children, participants for our Annual Butterfly Release, and of course, help planning (and attending!) our annual Fundraiser.

Donating Supplies

As a charitable organization, there are many things we need to keep the organization running and to make the experience great for the children that rely on Joel's Place.

We could use any of the items on our wish list of supplies for our office, the children's rooms and the teen rooms.
