					At Joel's Place for Children, we meet with families one-on-one to assess their needs. Generally, grief support groups meet for eight weeks and the sessions are 90 minutes in length. Age appropriate discussions, craft projects, games and books are selected to facilitate the expression of feelings. A permission slip must be signed by each child's parent or guardian. Joel's Place for Children offers grief support groups; we do not offer therapy or counseling.
