Each year Joel's Place for Children hosts two special events to raise funds and awareness for our children and family grief support groups in Cleveland.
Our annual fundraiser is held every fall. This annual event raises between 65%-75% of our annual budget used to fund our support groups.
2019: This year is our 13th annual fundraiser event, A Fall Celebration, will be held on October 12th at Michaud's in Strongsville, OH. We are excited to announce Jul Big Green as our live music performer and DJ this year! Listen to Jul's music! We will also welcome Cleveland's Most Sought After Benefit Auctioneer auctioneers, Bob Hale, as he leads a fun night including games and live auctions for some amazing prizes! There will also be raffles for prize baskets and experiences. Dinner and drinks are included with your ticket.

Friends of Joel's Place VIP Ticket: $100 ($50 tax-deductible)

If you prefer to mail in your RSVP, checks can be mailed to P.O. Box 180 Avon, Ohio 44011 in the amount of $100/ticket for a VIP Friends of Joel's Place ticket ($50 tax-deductible), or $75/each regular admission ($25 tax-deductible). Make checks payable to Joel's Place for Children.

Annual Summer Butterfly Release
Our second annual event is our Buterfly Release, which is held every summer to gather the families of Joel's Place during our Summer break, for a celebration of remembrance through releasing live butterflies in honor of those who have died, and gathering for a pot luck lunch in the park.
